Terms of Sale
All Bromeliads purchased shall be paid for within the terms stated on the sales invoice, unless otherwise specified by Kent's Bromeliad Nursery. We will be pleased to open credit accounts with established companies. No discount is allowed for early payment. Past due accounts will be assessed a service charge of 1% per month, or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less. If an action at law is instituted for collection of an account, purchaser agrees to pay all collection costs, attorney's fees and court costs. A $20.00 NSF charge will be added for all returned checks.
Conditions of Sale
We warrant to the extent of the purchase price only, that the plants sold are true to name, and as described within recognized tolerances. Seller gives no further warranty expressed or implied as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular use of its stock. Shipment of orders which are subject to cancellation or delay caused by governmental regulations, laws and orders, or any other cause, are beyond the control of the seller. All orders are accepted subject to the availability of stock on hand at the time of delivery.
Claims Procedures
Immediately upon delivery, shortages, or any error involving variance in grade, type, variety, or species must be reported to Kent's Bromeliad Nursery. Valid claims will be processed immediately. All claims due to delay, freezing, burning, or breakage must be listed on the Bill of Lading and filed with the carrier. We are not responsible for any damages due to shipper's neglect. Please notify our nursery within forty-eight (48) hours if any damage has resulted due to improper shipping. A photograph of damaged plants should be submitted for claims.
Cancellations
Kent's Bromeliad Nursery reserves the right to refuse cancellations within seven (7) days prior to ship date, except in cases covered by the 'act of God' clause, unless otherwise stated.
Prices
All prices are F.O.B. Vista, California, unless stated otherwise, and are subject to change without notice. Prices in effect at time of shipment will apply. For current prices, see separate price list.
Nursery Pick-Ups
Customers are welcome to pick up orders at our address, 1266 Ridge Road in Vista, California. We do request that orders to be picked up at our nursery be called in twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Minimum order for pick up is $150.
Truck Deliveries
Kent's Bromeliad Nursery runs a fleet of modern temperature controlled delivery trucks to provide outstanding delivery service in Southern California. Advanced notice is requested to schedule your shipment. Minimum order for Southern California deliveries is $500. A transportation fee will be charged on all deliveries. Deliveries out of state require using temperature controlled LTL freight service companies. Please add for freight changes where required.
Hours
We are open for business Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM PST. Please call for an appointment to visit our nursery.
