WHAT are
bromeliads?
Bromeliads are beautiful yet hardy plants native to the Americas with brightly
colored center foliage that bloom as long as three months. In the wild, the
plants act as mini-habitats, attracting a plethora of animals with a miniature
pool found at the center of the bromeliad bloom. The plants vary in size from
as small as 8 inches to a towering 5 feet tall, and are available in a rainbow
of colors.

HOW did
Kent’s become the largest dealer of bromeliads in the country?
Kent’s features more than 100 commercial varieties of bromeliads, developed
from those collected in the jungles of Central and South America, as well as
40-50 varieties developed by Kent’s, and 20 hybrids on which Kent’s
holds patents. Kent’s markets to retail florists and garden centers,
mass merchandisers, wholesalers, and professional interior landscapers.
