Kent’s bromeliads are available in three color stages – High (most intense color of mature bloom), Medium (two to four weeks from High, between bud and mature bloom) and Low (four to six weeks from High, bud). Please note that ordering a Low or Medium color stage will not increase the bloom time. Lighting conditions effect color, low light fades color, intense light beaches color. Once the bromeliad leaves the nursery, lighting conditions change and blooms may not reach full color potential. If you are buying for interior use, we recommend ordering High color. Use this guide when you order to determine the desired color and flower height.
